Rules
Goal
Get your piece to the opposite side of the board before your opponent does. In four-player mode the goal is the golden cell in the centre.
One turn, one action
Each turn you either move your piece to an adjacent square (up, down, left or right) or place one wall. You cannot do both.
Walls
A wall cannot be jumped over, only walked around. Your supply is limited.
Jumping
When two pieces are adjacent you may jump over your opponent. If a wall or the board edge sits directly behind them, the jump goes diagonally.
No full block
You may not place a wall that leaves anyone without a route to their goal.
Modes
- Duel — 9×9. Opposite sides, 10 walls each.
- Race — 9×13. Both start at the bottom and race to the top.
- Four at a table — 11×11. Four players, golden cell, 7 walls each.
Time
A move may take no longer than 30 seconds. The first two missed turns are skipped; the third missed turn in a row resigns you. Rooms may also run a 3- or 5-minute game clock.
Points
Public rooms only. A win is 25 points, or 40 if your opponent outranked you. A loss costs 10, or 20 if they were below you. Friend codes and the AI do not affect points.
